About — The Agent No. 02

The approach

Why independent matters — especially in insurance.

An independent agent represents you, not a single carrier. That one structural difference is what makes the rest of how we work possible.

Segvia is built around one carrier-agnostic shelf, bilingual conversations, and the patience to compare a Florida Blue Bronze plan against an Aetna Silver one — line by line, deductible by deductible — until the right answer is obvious to the person buying. Sometimes the right answer is no plan at all this year. That’s allowed, too.

I’m licensed in Health, Life, Medicare and ACA Marketplace coverage, and I work across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami–Dade counties. Segvia is appointed with the carriers you already know, and the relationship with each one is bilateral — if a carrier earns its place on the shelf, it stays; if it doesn’t, it goes.

And I answer my own phone — including Saturdays during open enrollment.

Four commitments

How I’ve chosen to work.

These aren’t marketing copy. They’re standing rules I’ll point you back to if I ever break them.

01 — Honesty

Tell you when there’s nothing to sell.

If your current plan is the best fit, I’ll say so out loud — even though I make nothing on the conversation.

02 — Patience

No quota, no clock.

Take the weekend to decide. Read it with your spouse. Sleep on it. The premium is the same next Tuesday.

03 — Bilingual

English o español, sin barreras.

Coverage decisions are too big to lose in translation. Both languages, equally fluent, by the same person.

04 — Access

I answer the phone.

No call center. No phone tree. When something changes — a job, a diagnosis, a move — the line is open.

Introduce yourself

A fifteen-minute call costs nothing.

No application paperwork. No commitment. Just a real conversation about your family’s situation and what we might do about it.
